🏠 Our Story
From the Streets to a Life Worth Living
Omah Ogel was founded by
Amy Sukmana — a remarkable woman who has devoted her life to rescuing abandoned, sick, and elderly animals in Depok, West Java, Indonesia. With no government funding and no corporate backing, she has kept this sanctuary running entirely on compassion and community support.
🚨
The Urgent Problem:
The shelter operates in rented spaces and has relocated multiple times — causing stress and instability for the animals.
🐾
190 Lives Depending on Us:
150 dogs and 40+ cats need a stable, permanent home where they can heal and thrive.
🌱
The Land is Ready:
A ±1,051 m² plot in Bogor Regency has been prepared.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to construction — not land purchase.
